Brazil has an extensive and rich coastline known for its beauty and diversity, so sometimes people can have a hard time deciding where to go. In this article we will cover some of the most popular destinations on the Brazilian coast.

For Brazilians and foreign visitorsalike, the coastline of about 7500 km and stretching over 17 states is the most popular destination in the summer. The Brazilian coast attracts many tourists, especially during summer vacation, which in Brazil happens at the beginning of the year.

The Northern areas of Amapá and Pará are dominated by the salt marshes and mangroves. In the Northeastern regions sand dunes and beautiful beaches with warm waters are more predominant.

The Southeastern region is the busiest part of the coast with lower altitudes and cooler water. Finally, the Southern part of the Brazilian coast is known for its low sandy shores and cooler water.
