IPI is one of the basic sales taxes in Brazil. It apply to industrial products that are produced in Brazil or imported.
The IPI tax is calculated based on:
- For Brazilian goods:
Sales price - For Imported goods:
Sales price + Shipping Cost + Import Duty
The IPI tax rate vary depending on the product classification.
