ANVISA Certificate required?

Hello, I am from a India and I deal in non-diagnostic medical equipments.

I have a importer in Brazil who is interested in the equipment which I am dealing into. I would like to know whether the equipment requires ANVISA certification for distribution in Brazil.

My importer told me to check it because he wants to distribute it further in Brazil. The equipment is non-diagnostic screen equipment/device. It doesn't comes under diagnostic devices.

So, do you have any idea whether these kind of devices require ANVISA certification or not?
