Nanotec 2008 in São Paulo
The 4th edition of Nanotec took place in São Paulo between 12th and 14th November 2008. Although nanotechnology is yet employed in a small scale in Latin America, the event counted with over 40 exhibitors and a large show room where companies such as Yamaha, Mercedes and Anna Pegova displayed a sample of what they could achieve by using nanotechnology applied to their products.
Being the only B2B event in nanobusiness in Latin America, Nanotec has also provided the opportunity scientists and researchers to share their experience on the field on 12 seminars directed to professionals in the textile, mechanics, electro/electronics, chemical and food industries, among others.
Nanotechnology is already recognized as the a key for competitiveness in all sorts of industries and the next edition of Nanotec is schedule to happen in November 2009.
