Office prices in São Paulo are booming
The CB Richard Ellis Research report tracks world markets with the highest and fastest-growing occupancy costs for the 12 months ended September 30, 2008.
According to the report São Paulo led the South-american region and was the seventh fastest growing market overall, up 34%. São Paulo’s occupancy cost increase reflects a shortage of prime office space.
In CB Richard Ellis Research list of the Top 50 Most Expensive Office Markets as of November 2008, only two Brazilian cities represented:
- 26 - São Paulo with USD 75.13 sq ft/annum
- 37 - Rio de Janeiro with USD 68.77 sq ft/annum
